About us
Two friends, three clubs, ten indoor courts.

Project Padel started with a conversation in August 2024. Fergal Hynes and Jack Carty were comparing summers and kept coming back to padel: how much they loved playing it, and how little there was to do together in Galway and the West through the wet, dark winter months.
They spent months looking for the right building before they found the unit at Carrowbrowne. Project Padel Galway opened in July 2025. Ballina followed in spring 2026 and Mullingar that autumn.
The idea has not changed: indoor courts you can play on all year, with somewhere to sit, have a coffee and stay a while.
